The physical therapy schools in Florida may not be part of the top 3 schools in the country but they are in the top 10 and in the top 20. That means that they are really good and that they may have missed the mark this year but the next they may very well be up there among the top 3. The most important thing about them is that they offer the best experience in application because there are more physical therapists in Florida than in any other state. And so you can easily find a part time job as a physical therapist aide while you are continuing your studies which will help you get a real, practical understanding of the job and also create the first few connections that will help you in your future career. That is not to say that the courses at in the physical therapy schools in Florida are not as good as those in other states but that they are in face more comprehensive because they are so easily applied.

Studying here means that you will be part of one of the physical therapy schools with the longest tradition in the country and you will be able to learn not only about the most modern techniques but also about some of the classical techniques that have been established in the development of modern psychotherapy. In order to be accepted here you will need to have a baccalaureate degree in any discipline, a minimum score of 400 on the verbal portion of the GRE, 500 on the quantitative portion and 3.5 on the analytical writing portion, minimum collective GPA of 3.0 and 3 recommendation letters, one from someone working in the field, and because you will also need to have 40 hours of practice that shouldn’t be too hard to obtain, one speaking of your academic abilities and one from someone who can speak to your character. Although the list is someone longer it might actually be easier to be admitted at the University of Florida and you should remember that it is still one of the best and oldest physical therapy schools in Florida.
